There are almost limitless solutions to
implementing strategies designed to increase employee
motivation.
Reward and recognition programs should be in
place and should be targeted at increasing employee loyalty,
encouraging and rewarding appropriate and desired behaviors, and
encouraging and recognizing employees’ lives outside of the
work walls.
Finally, who said work cannot be fun? It
should be fun. Employees should want to come to work in
anticipation of enjoying themselves while performing their tasks
and functions.
Fun is not an accident. It is the result
of planning. And it is critical to motivation and performance.
